Farmers Market Manager
Whisked! is currently seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join our Distribution Team. Our Distribution Team handles all of our wholesale deliveries- delivering products ranging from frozen cookie dough to refrigerated quiche to shelf-stable cookies; and delivering this product to all types of clients from grocery stores, to coffee shops, to cafeterias. In addition to delivering product, our delivery drivers act as the “on-the-ground” face of the company and play a vital role in establishing and upkeeping positive relationships with all of our clients. We are small team, and here at Whisked! we believe that each of us plays a major role in the company’s success. This position provides an opportunity for someone looking to grow within the company, as the role could expand in both responsibility and hours dependent on performance and company sales. To start, this position will primarily handle and be responsible for our Maryland and Baltimore routes.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Load vehicle and deliver product to clients- ensuring all product is accounted for, not damaged in transit, and delivered on-time;
- Merchandise product/stock shelves when applicable;
Develop and upkeep face-to-face relationships with clients- specifically receivers, buyers, store managers;
- Manage the transport of perishable and frozen product at correct temperatures in a refrigerated truck;
- Upkeep vehicle cleanliness, and maintain detailed driving records as required.

A Team player – As a small company, we often find ourselves in positions where plans need to change and people need to step in to different roles to keep operations running smoothly. You have the ability to wear many hats, and don’t hesitate to help fellow employees when needed.
Detail Oriented – You can follow procedures and develop your own systems to ensure all product is loaded and delivered in a timely manner and that company standards of product quality and integrity are upheld during all steps of transit.
Flexible - You can think ahead, change plans and re-prioritize your route as unexpected things come up while you are on the road. You can handle high volume during busy times and are willing and able to work until the job is complete.
- Driver’s License
- Comfort or willingness to learn to drive a box truck. Experience driving large and/or refrigerated vehicles a plus.
- 2+ years work experience
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree. College is a plus.
Able to lift 50+ pounds, able to drive long distances.
Schedule and Compensation:
This position is part-time at 3 days per week- Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Shifts start at 5:30 AM. This is an hourly position, approximately 24-28 hours per week.

Farmer's Market Manager
We are looking for an upbeat and engaging cookie lover to manage our stall at various DC Farmer's Markets on the weekends. Responsibilities include arriving early at our warehouse in Northeast DC to load a box van, driving the loaded van to a market site and unloading/setting up the stall, running the market stall, breaking down and reloading the van at market's end, then driving back to the warehouse and unloading. Valid driver’s license required.
Our ideal candidate is:
• A morning person
• Quick on their feet to troubleshoot problems
• Comfortable learning and selling a product with minimal oversight
• Able to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Okay working outside
• Reliable and responsible
• An owner of a smart device to be able to process transactions
• Passionate about food!
Salary: $120 per shift
Shift: 7 am- 3 pm
